Back in 1992 George Urbaszek completed work on his bass book "Bass Guitar for the Complete Musician". George began writing this book ten years earlier while still living in Germany. In fact, the early chapters of this book were written in German.
In 1986 George moved back to Australia, his birthplace, and in 1987 began teaching Bass and Ensemble Performance in the Jazz Department of the Canberra School of Music (Australian National University).
George soon realized that it might be a good idea to create documentation of his teaching method for the contemporary bass player, and therefore picked up his German bass book, translated it, then continued with and completed the method.
In 1992 computer printing and imaging was not nearly as sophisticated and easy to use as it is nowadays. But because this method is just as relevant today as it was yesterday, George decided to make it available again.
So this is what you get now: A complete facsimile of "Bass Guitar for the Complete Musician". For this reason it is called the "retro print version".
In case you are or were one of George's online or face-to-face students, you will soon see that this method forms the cocoon of his teaching.
In fact, here is a copy of the Contents page, so you can see for yourself.
